Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness: the principles upon which this country was founded are the very same ones that drive Knowify today. This Independence Day, the team at Knowify pays tribute to America’s hardworking small business owners. When we started our company in 2012, our vision was to help up-and-coming professionals work more efficiently so that they could make their dreams a reality. Since then, we’ve revolutionized the construction industry by helping contractors across the country–and the globe–grow their businesses. And we could not have done it without the support of industrious and enthusiastic people like you.
Today, we celebrate the Americans who have made Knowify what it is today: from the handyman in Annapolis who used our budgeting tools to get his business off the ground to the craftsman in Brooklyn who created something truly unique when he combined his old-world blacksmith skills with our state-of-the-art technology. We celebrate the couple in Tampa who worked tirelessly to grow their family-run painting business into something monumental and the plumber in Staten Island who took a risk when he embraced a modern business strategy and watched his risk pay off. The list goes on and on.
In 1931, James Truslow Adams defined the American Dream this way: “Life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each according to achievement and ability.” It’s our honor to improve, enrich, and fulfill lives across this nation, whether you’re new to this country or have been here for generations. There might be roadblocks along the way, like the pandemic we’re dealing with right now, but this country has always been one that believes in moving forward. That means facing moments of uncertainty with bravery and strength, taking big risks in the hopes of even bigger payoff, and embracing new technologies and strategies in order to reinvent your field. We’ll be here for you each step of the way.
Thank you to everyone who has helped Knowify move forward. Whether you’re a first-time business owner still getting the lay of the land or you’ve chosen to modernize a decades-old family business, you inspire us every day with your persistence and your optimism, and we celebrate you for following your dreams, even during trying times. Together, we will build a stable future for our country. Happy 4th.
