In Knowify, you have the ability to take a one-day service appointment and convert it to a contract job that can be scheduled for a longer period of time and can be used to send out a proposal for signature. The end result is that you will be able to transfer the schedule, labor hours, material purchases, notes, and job information that were created with the service job, directly to a new contract job.
To accomplish this navigate to the service map, locate your service ticket, and click Convert to Contract Job.
Knowify will have us confirm before we move forward
Once we confirm, Knowify will automatically create a new contract job from this ticket in Professional Mode. All of the information from the service ticket will be transferred to a job phase called “Site Visit”, including a labor budget which is calculated from the employees you scheduled on the ticket and the time range that the service ticket was setup for.
You can change the name of the job phase and enter any new phases as needed. Since the job is created in professional mode, you can enter your budgeted costs and use that information to create a proposal/bid to send to the client.
