There are a number of ways to undo or send a Contract Job proposal to the client an additional time. These include, but are not limited to, sending a reminder email with the proposal attached, reverting the contract back to draft mode and sending a new contract, or downloading the proposal directly as Microsoft Word document. This guide will visit each of these techniques:
The first method assumes you have sent the proposal out for signature, and you would like to remind your client and send it again.
1.
This job is currently out for signature. Click the blue button to send a reminder.
The following popup will show the send out for signature email again. The subject line will reflect the reminder, though the subject and message can be edited. You can add additional email addresses as well. Upon completion, click the green button to send the email. It will also send another copy of the proposal.
2. Another way to accomplish this is by canceling the original request for signature. This can be done within the Contract Job, in the Contract & Change Orders tab.
At the bottom of the proposal, click the red button to cancel the signature request. This will revert the contract back to draft mode, where you can edit and resend the proposal.
3. In the event the contract wasn’t submitted for signature, but just made active, you can try any of the following strategies:
At the top of Contract & Change Orders section, you will see the status of the job is active. You can click the highlighted “Switch to Draft” to bring the proposal back to edit mode.
This will allow you to send over the proposal again.
Finally, you can always download the proposal as a word document, whether the contract is active or in draft mode. Among the following images, the first reflects an active contract. The bottom right corner will allow you to download the contract and send it manually.
